"Paediatric Assessment and Fistral Unit FANTASTIC"

We were referred to the Paediatric Assesssment Unit by Newquay Medical Centre during our holiday because our son had some alarming symptoms. All staff from consultants to cleaners were fantastic. We stayed the night so encountere many staff members. Nobody ever wants to take their child to hospital but I'm very glad it happened on holiday as I know we would have had a very different experience back home! I also want to add that I was very impressed to see that staff were also making a huge effort with the emotional well-being of a young adult/teenager. I would like to think that some social care is in place for this person but could see her time in hospital was a therapy for her mind too.
