"Fabulous A&E Service"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

I would like to give some feedback about the service I received from the A&E Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn on 22 July 2016.

Me, my sister in law and our two 8 month old babies had been involved in a minor car accident.

Due to concerns about the children having been in an accident we took ourselves to the A&E Department to get them checked out.

We were sent straight through to the Paediatric Department and seen by Consultant Paediatrician who was just fantastic!

This consultant was so good with the children and really reassured us that we had done the right thing and that the children were not injured in any way.

My son had a great time playing with bubbles and with the doctor's light, which the doctor used to distract him whilst they checked him over.

It is so reassuring to know that should any harm come to my child I have a local hospital with whom I trust his care to completely.

I felt as though we were taken very seriously and were dealt with efficiently, we were in and out of the hospital promptly!

I have never had a bad experience at this hospital and would like to again say thank you!!!

Especially to the Consultant!

Thank you commenting on your recent experience in the A&E Department. It is always such a worrying time when your children are potentially ill or hurt and I am pleased to see that you and your sister in law had a very positive experience when you brought your two babies to the department. I will share your comments with both the Paediatrician and the A&E department. It is good to know that you have confidence in our services should you ever need them although I hope that will not be the case. I trust that you have all recovered from the after effects of the car accident.
