"Excellence"

My wife has recently undergone colorectal surgery at RUH.

I would like to pass on her thanks, and mine, for the caring and professional way in which doctors and the specialised nursing and radiotherapy team and Stoma nurses have guided us through this procedure. They have explained every stage in a caring, but fully factual, way.

Though this has been an understandably challenging time for my wife and I we have been reassured throughout by the care and professionalism of every member of the staff in all of those areas and on Pulteney Ward.

We have nothing but praise for everyone, and in that I include porters and cleaners, that we have encountered over the last few months.

We know that the journey is not over, more consultations and tests will follow, but we have every confidence that the high standard of care we have experienced so far will continue.
