"Day Surgery Unit"

I attended Swanage Day Surgery Unit for a small operation which involved a one night over-night stay.

My whole experience was excellent, from the theatre, my surgeon and the caring and helpful nursing staff on the ward.

I was treated with respect and dignity and as an individual by them all.

I had never been in hospital before, nor had a general anaesthetic so was somewhat apprehensive but each procedure was explained fully and I was reassured and put at easy.

I would like to thank each and everyone of them for my treatment - this must be the NHS at its best.
