Our father was admitted to the Cath Lab following a heart attack and Angioplasty was attempted. Unfortunately due to the severity of his condition it was impossible. He was then transferred to CCU where he was treated with compassion and dignity until his death. The staff in this unit from Senior Doctors, nursing staff and domestics were amazing and should be complemented for maintaining a calm and reassuring atmosphere at all times. We will be eternally grateful for ensuring that our father passed peacefully and pain free.

I am sorry to hear of your fathers passing and I would like to offer condolences to you and the family.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your experience of the Cath Lab and Coronary Care Unit on Patient Opinion. The staff will be delighted to hear that the care they provided was of comfort to you and that you felt the care was compassionate, dignified and received in a calm and reassuring manner.
