"appalling service"

I am on the books with the crisis team but when i called SPA they refused to put me through.

managed to get referal through a different mental health professional who told me that crisis team would come see me following day, knowing i was taking overdoses,

When they finally contacted me 4 days later all they said was speak to my GP about my overdosing.

Even the GP wasnt very happy with them.

I would not recommend this service to anyone

Thank you for your comments. I am so sorry that your experience was such a negative one. Anyone who is open to the Crisis and Resolution Team (CHRT) should be transferred to their area team through the Single Point of Contact (SPA) and once through to the team their needs would be discussed and a face to face contact may be arranged after this. I am sorry the process did not work for you and we fell short of the normal standard of care we set for our patients. I hope you are well now. We have passed on your concerns to both CRHT and SPA. If you would like to contact the PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation we would be very happy to discuss the issues you raised and see how we can improve services for you and other people in your situation in the future.
