"Qa Maternity wards"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the mid wife's,support work and doctors that looked after me and my little girl throughout the last few weeks. After having my little girl on the 13th I suffered with a really big hematoma and lost a significant amount of blood! In which I stayed in hospital for nearly two weeks over all after a operation that left me unable to walk for a while!

Where I was cared for by many of the staff,i was completely amazed on how much all the workers within these wards have to deal with and the work load opon them! I was always felt at ease and was made to laugh through out most of my stay! These people don't get enough thanks for what they do! So from me and my family we would all like to say you truly are an inspiration to QA! And couldn't of got through the truma without the help you all have given. From birth, to the operation, breast feeding and even bathing! I was fully supported.

Dear Tara

Thank you for taking the time to leave your very kind words with us. We are so glad that you had such a positive experience within the Maternity Department at what must have been a very difficult time for you. Please be assured that I will share your comments with the teams involved who will pleased to receive such positive feedback.

May I take this opportunity to wish you a speedy recovery and all the best for the future with your new daughter.

Kind regards.

Debbie
