"Get your blood 'done' at your surgery."

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

I was led to understand that the 'blood' test department opened at 7.30 am. I entered at 7.30 am.

There were staff milling around; seemingly aimlessly, chatting about their weekends, all very calm and friendly.

There were already four people ahead of me.

Eight o'clock came and went.

Lots of people needing their blood by then.

At 8.05 a nurse wrote on the up-date board that there was a thirty five minute wait.

Eventually, at 8.06 they started.

The aimlessness of the nusres' activity offends me.
