What I liked
For about a year I had lost most of the movement in my right foot and struggling to walk, this caused me terrible back pain. I waited months for an MRI scan (due to my GP at the time referring me to an orthopaedic instead of a neurologist!). When I finally got the results it turned out that I had a tumour growing on my spinal cord. The consultant at the hospital in herts where I was given the results forwarded my details that same day to the National Hospital, then the very next morning I was called to the National to meet a consultant. One week later I was there getting the tumour removed! I was so pleased about the treatment I was receiving from the National and that finally something was being done to help me. I stayed in hospital for eight days and the staff were brilliant especially the nurses. I have made a full recovery and now expecting our first baby! What a year! thank you very very much!!
