"Emergency assessment suite R.V.I Newcastle upon Tyne"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary

(as the patient),

Having been on assessment suite I was very pleased with the care given by all staff who were very friendly and polite at all times even though they were short staffed! However, the consultant, well what can I say, I think the consultant let the whole team down. I think the consultant had a terrible bedside manner, very abrupt with myself and the doctor who was there at the time. The consultant asked a question and whilst I was answering cut off the conversation and talked about something else. Oh and the consultant nearly choked me when looking into my mouth with the wooden stick. I don't think this consultant is caring or compassionate one little bit if this consultant treats patients like this goodness knows how they treat their staff?
