I recently had a c section at Heartlands. The treatment and care I received was excellent. I ended up having an emergency C section, went straight into theatre and baby delivered safely within minutes. The the midwives in the maple ward where I recovered for 3 days were so kind and patient. Although the wards were busy, nothing was too much trouble, bringing drinks, answering questions, demonstrating how to do things etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Heartlands Princess of Wales from my experience there, totally satisfied.

Thank you so much for your kind comments about your recent birth experience at Heartlands Hospital.

Congratulations on the safe arrival of your baby, it must have been an anxious time being told you required an emergency caesarean section. I am so pleased to read that you found all of the treatment and care you received was of an excellent standard throughout.

I will be thrilled to ensure your feedback is highlighted to our Lead Midwife for Patient Experience, who will ensure that your comments are communicated to all of the Midwifery Team in Delivery Suite, and on Maple Ward where you were cared for after your delivery.

I'm sure you are very busy at the moment coping with the demands of a new baby, and sincerely hope you are recovering well from your surgery.
