My 91 year old mother-in-law had an appointment for a hearing aid fitting in Clinic D - Audiology.
It is always a two-man job to take her to any hospital appointment because she is so frail.
My husband dropped us off in the designated bay before going to the car park (where there were actually spaces - not usual in most hospital car parks!).
My job was to get my mother-in-law to the Clinic.
I asked if we could borrow a wheelchair and a kind receptionist came out and helped me extricate one from the store and directed me to the clinic.
At the clinic another receptionist cheerfully directed my to the exact location.
We arrived much earlier than our allotted time and as there was no one else there we were taken straight in by the audiologist who was very patient in their dealings with my mother-in-law and explained everything clearly.
We were out of the building in record time.
Although this appointment was minor and routine I still appreciated how quick and efficient it was.
Most of all, I thought staff we encountered were most helpful and welcoming.
For once I experienced a hospital visit without stress and irritation!
Thank you.
"Stress-free experience!"
