"Ward 27 knee keyhole"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

The Consultant made the call to take me in for key hole on my left knee. I was told to report to ward 27 at 07.30. I was very nervous as this was the first time I have had any surgery of any kind. I was admitted on to the ward and made to feel very comfy. My nervs were put at ease as soon as the ward staff and surgery staff came around. I was well informed about what would be happening and they kept me talking to take my mind off it. Next news I was in recovery and a bit groogy so had to stop the night. The day and night staff were amazing. Everyone was very friendly right down to the person cleaning. Hot drinks were always on offer brought around by a smileing member of staff. I am very happy with my stay and the treatment I received. The staff of the NHS are very underapriated and I would just like to say thank you to you all. Please continue being amazing people.

Dear Andy, first of I must apologise for the delay in replying - there has been a problem with the site notifying us when someone posts a review, which we have just become aware of. Thank you so much for taking the time to send us this feedback, and I am delighted that you had such a good experience of care from our Orthopaedic team and on Ward 27. I will make sure the relevant staff are aware of your comments, and I can assure you it will mean a great deal to them.
