"Waiting time for catheterisation cardiogram"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

The consistent 5 star ratings indicate how satisfied I was with all aspects of the catheterisation cardiogram procedure which I recently underwent, and I have communicated this separately to the staff involved via the CE's office. However, I was increasingly concerned about the waiting time experienced. At the initial assessment by the Fast Access Chest Pain Clinic I was told the wait would be a few weeks but I was only admitted for the catheterisation cardiogram procedure after 34 weeks had elapsed. There was a distinct feeling of having been forgotten, despite my occasional telephone calls to the Cardiac Waiting List Office to check that I had not.

Thank you very much for your kind words regarding your satisfaction with the treatment you received within the Cardiology Department. However, it is disappointing to note your comments regarding the waiting time that you experienced for your procedure.

Please be assured that both your positive and negative comments will be forwarded to the Cardiology Team.

May I take this opportunity to wish you well for the future.

Kind regards.

Debbie
