My mum had a stroke and went to Doncaster Royal Infirmary, staying on ward 16. The doctor explained to my mum what tests etc she would have, even though she can't talk. People sometimes talk to me instead. We both really appreciated his tact and treating her like a person.
There was nothing wrong with the treatment and care provided by the hospital. My mum doesn't like male carers. This was adhered to. Thanks!
"Appreciated that the doctor talked to my mum directly at DRI"
