"Assuring the staff who were on duty in the plaster room"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Bones, joint and fractures

(as the patient),

On Sunday night after 10. 30 pm I came to the hospital with a fractured wrist

. In the plaster room they had to remove my rings. They made sure I had them safely but in my not too normal state I was not fully aware of this. I missed them next morning and rang the hospital but of course you could not find them.

I later found them safe in my handbag.

In case any staff especially the plaster room staff still are worried I wish them to be assured that all is well and they did a good job. Please confirm that you have received this message safely.

Dear Licia

Thank you for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion. I am pleased that you found your rings and I will ensure that your feedback is passed on to the plaster room staff in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

I would like to wish you a speedy recovery.

Best wishes
Lisa
