About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

Although fairly satisfied with the service provided .Dignity and respect could be greatly improved by providing same sex operator and assistant as the patient saving any embarrasment when removing clothes ..Plus instead of a drawn curtain were any body other side can hear any questions you may ask should be a closed door .

I am really sorry to lean that your privacy and dignity were compromised.

It is not always possible to offer patients this option given shift patterns and so on, but please, if you ever have to have a sensitive examination or test such as this again, always ring the number on your appointment letter to let them know your preference and they will do their best to accommodate you.

I also understand your concerns about the lack of audio privacy behind a drawn curtain, but again, please let staff know about your concerns and they may be in a position to have the necessary conversation with you in an office.
