"Good balance of care with teamwork"

My daughter has just returned home with our first grandchild. She and her husband have given us a blow by blow account of her care over four days. Excellent. A good balance of personal sympathetic care, well judged clinical decisions taken by a team who gave confidence throughout. All leading to a slightly technical delivery but avoiding potential complications. Just the right balance of drug use and help. Thank you and well done. I am an aging GP with a long term interest in obstetrics.
