About: Westmorland General Hospital

Attended day surgery ward, bay 1 on the 22/07/2016 for the removal of my gallbladder. To say I was nervous was an understatement, but I needn't have been. The consultant who performed my op, anaesthetists and nurses were absolutely brilliant. I was made to feel relaxed and everything was explained in detail every step of the way. The care I received was excellent. I would like to say, if I'm allowed, a special thank you to my named nurse for the morning, and to my named nurse for the afternoon... Thank you
