I had a planned angiogram, with the possibility of stents, in June but have heard nothing since. No stents were fitted & I was to be referred for CABG presumingly at Brighton. My problem is lack of information ie why couldn't the stents be inserted, how long will I need to wait to hear any news, do I go back to my GP for answers & referral, who is in charge of my care now. I feel abandoned & left in limbo with the only paperwork given to me a print of my heart & a copy of a form saying CABG & a list of my medication along with the same form & an ECG printout for my GP. When I left the ward that day I was not concerned about the lack of information assuming I would receive an explanation etc in the post but alas this has not been so & my GP's wait time is 6 weeks for an appointment & I've already waited 6 weeks. I feel there is a serious lack of information for patients like myself who, apart from the angiogram, had nothing done on the day & just to be told "good luck with your operation". Staff were efficient & pleasant
