"Call handler, paramedics, resus team and ward 12"

About: North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

(as a relative),

My Dad was rushed into Cramlington hospital recently as he couldn't breathe.

Every process of this awful time was made better by the very professional and friendly staff. They made my dad and us, his family, feel calm and at ease. We knew he was in the right hands. My dad suffered from a massive asthma attack which could of been life threatening.

We can't thank the paramedics enough for their fast and efficient work. They potentially saved my dads life and I will be forever grateful for that. All the staff that has dealt with us have been absolutely fantastic, they are so caring and good at their jobs so thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, you are all angels and deserve the very best.

Dear Mrs Armstrong,

I hope your Dad is doing ok following his recent asthma attack? I can imagine this must have been very frightening for him and your family. I am pleased to read that our wonderful staff were able to support you, and help you to feel calm and at ease during a very difficult time.

I will pass your kind comments about the paramedics to The North East Ambulance Service and also to our caring teams who helped look after your Dad.

Should your dad need us in the future our staff will be on-hand whenever he needs us.

Best wishes,

Annie
