What I liked

Since being informed of my breast cancer through the routine Breast Screening Programme early last November 2009 and, I might add, only two days before my husband and I were due to depart on a twelve month long Round the World trip, we have been very impressed with how well the local NHS administrative machine has handled my case. This has gone a long way to instilling patient and carer’s confidence in the treatment and care we have and continue to receive from the consultant and Oncology Unit staff, whilst not forgetting all the hidden staff that are involved, both technical and administrative, including those who have been involved with my case at Boston and Grantham Hospitals also.

What could be improved

Increased staffing at all levels but that is, no doubt, everyone's dream!

Anything else?

Please keep up the good work and ensure that the staff know that there are at least some patients and carers that are both grateful and impressed by their very professional caring service! This feed back is essential for their moral! :-)
