(as a relative),

Thank you to all the staff on every level in A&E, X-Ray, Stroke Team, HDU and Ward 12 for the care you have given to my Dad who suffered a Stroke whilst on Holiday. Not only did you care for Dad you ensured that my Mum was safe and looked after till family arrived. We will be forever grateful to you all.

Dear SarahS

Thank you for your sharing your parents experience. I am extrememly sorry to learn that your Dad became unwell whilst on holiday in the Dumfries and Galloway area. This must have been a very stressful and worrying time for you and your parents.

I will ensure that the staff involved are aware of your comments, as I know they will appreciate your kind words. We are indeed fortunate to have such a committed and dedicated staff within NHS Dumfries and Galloway and it is always heartening for staff to receive such positive feedback.
