"Admission to A & E for chest pains"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

This morning I was taken by ambulance to A & E due to chest pains and an irregular ECG.

I was on my own, very frightened and relatively young to have these symptoms (41).

From start to finish the paramedics, staff at the Major unit in A & E and the observation ward after we're very friendly and helpful.

The staff particularly in A&E Major unit were very prompt and made really good use of trainee doctors to obtain information.

From what I observed it was very professional and well organised.

Thank you all for your prompt response and help.
