Pre Natal care at the Royal Free was a mixed affair - generally the midwives and doctors were great once you can get their attention. Outpatient appointments always run late - at least 1 hr.
Blood results frequently going missing. My waters broke early and I had a complicated delivery so had a 9 day hospital stay. The Doctors and Midwives were excellent and very supportive during this difficult period. However I was shocked at the facilities - no hot water in the showers, broken bed (hand rails and elevation) made it impossible for me to get in and out of bed as i had a c section, blood stains in bathroom, shortage of wheelchairs made it a challenge for me to visit my newborn in the neo-natal ward. The hospital combines pre and post natal care on one ward which does not work well.
