"Still waiting ....."

I had a procedure done on 10th May and was told I would have the results in 2-3 weeks.

After 3 weeks I rang the consultants' secretary and got the answer machine.

Despite the message saying someone would call me back nothing happened so I rang again to be told that the report was on the consultant's desk and would go out in the post that day (Friday) or the following Monday.

I still haven't received anything - I have rung 5/6 times and just get the answer machine.

I have put in a complaint but not heard anything back.

I am exceedingly disappointed and highly concerned that I am still no nearer knowing what is wrong with me 10 weeks later.
