"Acute urinary retention whilst on holiday!"

My husband had to attend A&E whilst we were on holiday. We are luckily not frequent users of NHS services and given adverse media coverage recently about the state of our hospitals we were very worried. Well we needn't have been! We were treated with exceptionally high levels of care. I was incredibly impressed. Everyone we dealt with from booking in to triage and treatment by medical teams was superb. I cannot find enough words to give your team the praise they deserve. I am sure they are working in difficult circumstances and often under pressure but that did not in any way translate to the treatment of patients. I know this was not isolated to my husband's care because I was observing staff as I was waiting and they consistently excelled. Well done you are all a credit to the NHS.
