"Amazing Treatment ; Major Surgery & Aftercare"

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

On 3rd September 2015 I was an emergency surgery patient for Aortic Dissection, with the odds stacked against me.

After several hours in theatre, I was cared for in Cardiac ICU/HDU for rest of the month, before being moved to the 'step down' ward, prior to discharge. I am very grateful for extremely dedicated care by the whole team in the Millennium Wing, who pulled out all the stops on my behalf.

My wife & family were supported too.

I am so very sorry for the delay in this response, thank you very much for your kind comments expressing your gratitude to our hospital, I have passed on your message to the Cardiothoracic Team.

It really is encouraging for our staff when they receive thanks from patients and relatives for the care they have provided, and it is always very much appreciated.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us and I hope you are continuing to recover well.

Best wishes

Hannah Pacifico
