"Cancer diagnosis with horrible treatment"

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

I went to the dermatology clinic about a lump and was immediately told I probably had cancer. The doctor did not spend time explaining what that means and how I would need to be treated but instead rushed me out for a biopsy because they were "busy." I was told that my lump needed to be completely removed but that I'd have to come back to have that done because they did not have the time to do it that day. The person who did my biopsy did not give me enough anaesthetic so I felt a lot of the procedure. I now how stitches that need to be removed and then I'll have to go through all of this again simply because the practice was busy. I was told I will not get my biopsy results for over a month but my lump is being removed before that. I'm not sure how this practice can rightfully cut into people without having a definitive diagnosis first. I was not treated with respect and definitely did not understand what my diagnosis was or what it meant for my health. I have been extremely distraught about this "diagnosis" and have feared the worst because I was not given any information. I definitely do not recommend this practice.
