"Worst gender clinic ever"

Terrible gender clinic, worst ever, they are clueless to what gender is, terrible service with non existent care or safety. Been 3+ years and no progress at all. They only help those passable trans, the so called "dr" lies, they agree to starting treatment but change their mind and refuse treatment, so they lied to me. They do not follow any of the nhs guidelines. They pick and choose who to help. If you don't pass expect nothing from them. Another trans i know got everything within months because she passes. Been 3 years for me and nothing. They are putting me at risk and what they are doing is unsafe, they are truly careless and heartless.So the only option im left with is self medding with unsafe uunmonitored hormones because the nhs has failed me and the only safe option i had is not accessible to me as im refused and denied everything.

It is with great regret that we read that you feel we are the 'worst gender clinic ever'. Our aim is to treat every patient that we see equally and to ensure that in all cases we are doing that which is best for our service users.

We would very much like to know the specifics of your case so that we can address the issues that you raise directly as there may be a raft of reasons as to why things have not progressed for you in the way that you want, and ask that you contact us directly.

Whilst we understand that some patients do self-medicate, we always advise that this should not be done, and would again ask you to contact us directly so that we may address the issues you raise and provide clear reasons for our actions to date.
