"Ward 4"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

Our daughter was admitted to Ward 4 as an emergency patient with suspected pancreatitis on Monday 12th July. The treatment she received from the word go was absolutely first class. The kindness and the professionalism from every member of staff was exemplary. As her parents living in Norfolk, the staff were very kind and soothing to our phone calls and assured us that if we did make the journey we would be welcome at any time. Thanks to the excellent care our daughter was discharged on Thursday with antibiotics and orders to bed-rest for a week. She is now on the mend and we cannot praise the hospital and staff highly enough.

Excellent patient care is a high priority for us and we are always delighted when families take the time to let us know when we’ve provided such a good service.

We will pass your comments over to the staff at Ward 4. It is great to hear your daughter is on the mend, many thanks for taking the time to feedback.
