"Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Team has been excellent"

I had knee surgery at Calderdale Royal Hospital. All went well during the hospital stay with attentive care from staff. I developed cellulitis in my shin following my discharge home. I attended the ambulatory Ward at the hospital where tests were performed to check for DVT then intravenous anti biotics were administered to manage the cellulitis. This care continued over a weekend provide in my own home by local district nurses On returning home from my operation the follow up physiotherapy visits were arranged with the Elective Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Team. This service has been excellent. The follow up visits by the physiotherapist have been fantastic support and help with my successful recovery. Many thanks and Well done to all the Staff involved with my Care. Great service.
