"Respect for the hard working professionals"

About: Croydon University Hospital

What a positive experience we had at a&e on Thursday 15th July 2016

My 17 daughter was advised to go straight to A&E by our GP as she was suffering from rapid heart beat and shortness of breath.

To be honest I was toying whether I went to Mayday or another hospital to take my daughter. I only chose Mayday as it was the nearest.

From the time we entered into A&E we were seen by the nursing team, who were all so lovely, professional and kept reassuring my now upset, worried daughter.

Every stage of our visit was dealt with with such efficiency.

They covered all aspects; blood test, scan, ECG etc.

Not once did I nor my daughter feel we weren't kept informed or looked after.

They continued doing further tests until they were satisfied she was fit enough to go home.

I would like you to pass on our congratulations to the consultant and the team in A&E for such a nice, warm, caring and professional experience.

Dear #HappyMrsS,

Thank you for taking the time to post about you and your daughter's very positive experience at Croydon Health Services, when you attended A&E recently. I will ensure that the consultants, and all team in A&E see your kind comments and I hope your daughter is recovering well.
