"Exemplary experience"

About: Central Middlesex Hospital

This is the third time I've visited the Ophthalmology department for routine glaucoma screening.

As with the other visits, the whole experience was exemplary and a credit to the NHS.

I received reminder letters well in advance, texts and phone calls approaching the appointment.

The hospital is modern, clean and well-appointed.

My appointment consisted of three test including a consultancy.

All were on time, the process was well managed and seamless and I was out within half an hour of the appointed time.

This is a fine example of how the NHS should be.

Also, getting there is a doddle - there are frequent bus services from much of north and west London, to a bus station immediately outside the main entrance.

Harlesden station (Bakerloo line and Overground) is a short bus ride away.
