"rheumatology appointment"

Had my first appointment today with consultant within rheumatology at acre mills. I felt that the consultant was dismissive and that they did not listen to me. The consultant made me feel as though i was wasting their time and when diagnosing me couldn't fully explain some of my symptoms without saying well we can get aches and pains when we get older and we all get clusters of mouth ulcers at times, my husband doesn't and people that i know don't.

From the consultant asking me why i was there and me trying to explain to them the problems that i am experiencing i felt i wasted my time, the comnsultant wasn't interested, even tried to speak to them about their busy day to lighten the mood but to no avail, people have feelings. To be told ill write to you if i find anything from the tests is not good, whilst i fully appreciate the consultant might be busy i think they should have offered a follow up appointment, not good particularly in light when other consultants i.e. pain clinic are fabulous
