(as the patient),

I was taken into hospital recently with a severe kidney infection.

I was initially placed on the Surgical Assessment Unit where I was treated well and very efficiently by the staff.

I was then moved to Ward 1 and was treated with care, patience and professionally by the entire Ward 1 team (from Ken the tea man through to Doctors). I remained in hospital for 2 days. I was in pain at times and the staff made things as comfortable as they could for me. They are a credit to their Trust and to the NHS.
