"Colorectal cancer"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I had not had an operation in 63 years and as you can imagine was very apprehensive.

However, everyone I came into contact with from the surgeon to the auxiliary staff treated me with care, compassion and professionalism. I was not an 'easy patient' but everyone took the time to explain things to me and answer my many questions.

I cannot thank them enough for giving me my life back and a future.
