"Staff really didnt care"

About: Colchester General Hospital

I was recently in a road accident and had to be taken to colchester accident and emergency unit. The staff do not engage in conversation and its as if they cant be bothered to treat you. After my neck and head were cleared by a very abrupt Doctor i was moved in to another area and then apart from having my blood pressure taken i was ignored for over two hours. Never once did anyone come and see if i was ok or wanted a drink or my family member who thank god stayed with me. Three nurses sorting out one trolley, doctors and porters not acting as they should. The consultant stood around for two hours and did nothing. When i needed the bathroom it was not received well by a rehab carer who had such an attitude that they really should rethink their job in care and asked me i wanted a frame which i found very insulting. I had to ask the consultant when would i be seen and then they deemed to come over. They poked my ribs and then said they would hurt. I really hope i never have to go there again and i left with my cannula in my arm which i had to remove myself so much for safe discharge. Digusting
