About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Parkwood inpatient unit

My GP supposedly made a referral for me in late June (regarding personality disorder treatment and supposedly in the hope of getting me somewhere) to the Blackpool Victoria hospital and when I tried to telephone them I was put through to the Harbor and received the most excruciating automated answering machine that then basically hung up and so I telephone the Harbor and they claimed they could do absolutely nothing for me and I'd have to go back through my GP.

I am absolutely sick to the back teeth of the way I am being treated. What do I have to do exactly? What do you want me to do for you to listen to me? ! Between Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and my medical practice - get it sorted before I have to involve the media please, I am absolutely at my limit!

I demand a clear response to this criticism please. The subject of personality disorder - and the lack of care - is currently a very hot topic at the moment and I will be forced to capitalise on that if I am continually messed around.

Be that as it may, any error in who this report has been sent to is not on my part. My complaint is in regards to the elusiveness of the Blackpool Victoria hospital and the Harbor facility. As to which of the abysmal NHS Trusts mans those establishments and to whom this criticism should be directed by this forum wasn't and still isn't within my authority.

Furthermore, the fact remains that mental health care in my district is supposed to be provided by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust and, ultimately, it is the lack of a personality disorder therapeutic community group being provided by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust that has reduced me to having to navigate my way around this bureaucratic nightmare of organisations like a headless chicken in an attempt to tap in to some semblance of care in alternative districts.

You may very feel unable to comment, but I for one beg to differ actually. I will be in touch, yes. I won't be letting this go.
