I had a total knee replacement on the orthopaedic ward at Barnsley General. I really appreciated the nice and relaxed atmosphere. Also, the consultant was on time in outpatients - there was no long wait to see him.
However, the car parking is atrocious, there are no spaces. Barnsley Hospital was a very nice experience, in so far as being in hospital is nice.
Thank you to the staff in theatre and on the Orthopaedic ward.
