"Excellent - hardworking friendly staff at a..."

About: St James's University Hospital

I broke my finger and having been messed around by wharfedale hospital minor injuries who decided to close early rather than see me (necessitating me to drive myself all the way to jimmys instead at half 10 at night!) turned up at around 11pm. Inevitably, waits were long, but I'd just like to commend the excellent NHS staff - from the friendly reception staff, very sweet nurse who originally saw and assessed me, to the radiographer with great craic, very kind and gentle doctor and then eventually to the very nice nurse who strapped me up at 3.30am and sent me away with extra tape and gauze so that I could restrap it at home. It is an incredibly difficult time for all NHS staff and A&E clinicians already do a tough job. Despite this, every person I saw was patient, kind, considerate and gave me the time I needed, coping admirably with the drunks and aggressive youths (who were there as a result of tearing chunks out of eachother, and loudly complained about anything they possibly could throughout their visit). Jimmy's staff, I salute you! Well done LTHT.
