"Very unhappy"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

My daughter was admitted in RLI early Monday evening with severe stomach pain and was put onto the acute medical unit. They arranged for her having a Ultrasound the next afternoon. She was taken down at 14.20pm and finally brought back to the ward at 16.00pm. The staff on the Ultrasound department had just left my daughter outside on corridor and never buzzed the porter to come and collect her. In the mean time my daughter was begging for someone to take her back to the ward so she have her morphine. She was in agony and crying out in pain. The porter was annoyed with the staff because the porter hadn't been buzzed and could see that my daughter was in agony. It was 40 minutes that my daughter was left there. They had simply forgotten about her. I am disgusted that someone should be left for that amount of time with no help. She has now been moved to the gynaecology ward 16 and still waiting for someone to officially come round and diagnose her. In the mean time she's still on morphine. Been told that she has 8cm cyst that's all.
