"Princess Alexander Eye Pavilion"

About: Princess Alexandra Eye Pavillion

(as the patient),

I had a flurescent angiography at the Eye Pavilion just over 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive a response regarding results. I was informed I would hear within 3 weeks. When trying to find out when I would here back, I've been passed from one secretary to another. I was advised the doctor would not be back to clinics until August and the Eye Pavilion advised he's behind on tapes and that I'd have heard by now if it was bad!

I think this is totally unacceptable. My main issue being that I think staff in the hospital should not advise of a time frame to receive results if it's not achievable. However, I think 3 weeks is more than a acceptable to receive results as patients get concerned. There seems to poor communication between staff on wards and secretaries/Consultants.

An invasive eye test is of concern as I needs to know if it's degenerative or could affect driving. I think this is very reasonable.
