"Appalling appointment"

About: Conquest Hospital

Going to A&E for my boyfriend as he was un well & fitting! We waited 4 and a half hours for no tests to be done or anything and the doctor to say it's all due to stress, I'm very unhappy that no tests were done to prove anything. Very angry with the hospital.

We're concerned to read that you are angry with the hospital due to your boyfriend's experience with the A&E department at the Conquest hospital.

Please be assured we take your concerns very seriously and would advise you to ask your boyfriend to contact our Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) so that we can look into what happened in more detail.

PALS are a confidential service who can liaise with Trust staff on behalf of your boyfriend. They can investigate the reasons for his delay in being seen and also the clinical decisions that were taken. PALS can be contacted on 01424 758090 or by email at: esh-tr.PALSH@nhs.net.

We apologise for the fact that you and your boyfriends experience was poor, and we hope to hear from him (or you, on his behalf), so that we can apologise in person and provide explanations.
