My daughter was placed in this hospital by the local CAMHS team. At first things seamed to be going well.
One thing I asked the staff to be kept informed with any changes or problems. We was all over the notes to call me anytime day or night this only happened once. I got a phone call midday after a serious incident and the reason I was told the reason for not calling the night before was they felt it was abit late to ring after 10 o'clock in the evening. They also informed my daughter she would get her own place when she left the hospital and the government would pay this. What a joke making all sorts of promises to a young person. They don't know how the system works or what a person is able to claim or get once they leave.
I was informed by the doctor once my daughter was discharged to take her to the local councils offices and inform them she was homeless and they would provide her with accomation.
Once my daughter was discharged i went to collect her they had her belongings in bags no paperwork what so ever. It was a case of here is your daughter she is now your problem. I have sent emails and made phone calls asking for paperwork and got no where.
