"Consultant orthopaedic"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

Went for a clinic appointment at orthopaedics in Broad green Hospital today was approached by the staff nurse who was very welcoming and attentive to detail and made us feel relaxed and put at ease.

However, the consultant was very patronising and rude and made us feel we were wasting their time. Add to insult the consultant left the door wide open whilst my knees were on full show to other members of staff whilst they checked the X-rays. Came back to room told my daughter not to speak for me and said I am a surgeon when questioned about options. Did not explain anything at all and said go back to your Gp. No respect or dignity for patient care Didn't acknowledge us at all and was very passive and made it very clear the consultant was an authoritative dismissive figure.

Really disappointed went home very upset!!
