My 3 year old grandson had a bottle of fruit juice at a local coffee shop and as it wasn't completely finished, I took the drink home. When looking at the bottle later, i discovered that the symmetrical indentations on each side of the bottle were in fact gaps where the glass behind the plastic covering had broken and that there were small fragments of glass at the bottom of the bottle. We immediately went by taxi to the Emergency & Urgent Care Centre at Whipps CrossHospital so that he could be examined. We were dealt with speedily, efficiently and the kindliness and friendliness of the staff was excellent, particularly the staff nurse and their colleague who initially took my grandson's blood pressure, listened to his chest etc. I actually wrote down their names as I wanted to include their names in this review. They were both on duty on the 24th when we arrived at the hospital at around 4pm. All professionals answered my questions clearly and in such a way that I, as a non-professional, could understand. The waiting room was well-resourced for children of different ages and the area was bright and very clean.I was impressed with the whole experience and would like to thank all the staff on that day for taking much of the stress out of what was an extremely stressful experience.
"An excellent experience!"
