"ongoing outpatient care in endocrinology,..."

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

I cannot fault the care and attention I have been receiving from the consultants in the Endocrinology clinic for the past two years.

I had been struggling with my thyroxine dosage and needed some reassurance that there was no other underlying disease.

The doctors have all gone out of their way, have been thoughtful, kind and always treated me with dignity and respect.

At last, I have now had the blood tests I have been asking my GP service to run (who refused),which confirms hormonal changes that have probably going on for a few years.

Despite the clinican's request for my GP to run the blood tests, it was not done correctly and the dr ensured i had it done after my clinic appointment at the blood room.

I would also like to thank the admin team for relaying results and clinical outcome letters promptly.

I am due to go back to see them again in September by which point I will be on HRT (hopefully). Thank you, Endocrinology team at Wythenshawe, you're all stars in my eyes.
