"Nurses"

The nurses in MIU are well trained and are quite able to deal with most cases however they are surely understaffed if an emergency comes in everybody else has to wait but that is not good for the staff who come under extra pressure then to clear the backlog

We are sorry if you had a delay in receiving treatment at the urgent care centre. As a new service we are working hard to make sure that we have the appropriate numbers of staff working throughout the day, reflecting periods of time when we expect to see more people.

We will continue to work on our staffing levels so that nobody waits an excessive length of time to be seen.
