"It just feels that this is all taking a very long time"

(as the patient),

I dislocated my shoulder 18 months ago and since last August it has dislocated something like 5 times. I was initially referred to the physio in Oban by my GP at the beginning of Nov 2015. But I have quite a lot of pain and numbness in my little finger and ring finger. The physio was great but since my pain and shoulder weren't improving he referred me to the ortho consultant in Jan 2016. I finally saw a consultant who wasn't a shoulder expert at the end of March. I was than referred for an MRI scan with contrast and to see an actual shoulder consultant in Glasgow. Finally had my MRI 3weeks ago and saw the consultant. I now need a nerve conductivity test but the consultant had no idea how long this would take. Just to be clear when I see anyone they are great, it just feels that this is all taking a very long time
